which exists between us.

locked within our sacred dance
imploding

flesh and bone

the vast unknown.

Intimacy deeper than
the ocean depths
infinitely suspended in time
hummingbird heartbeats
a soundless scream
in deafening silence
we descend.

Unbidden together
swallowed
surrounded
shrouded inside you
we devour each other
serene chaos
over within the blink
of an eye.
